ABOUT ABOUT

The purpose of this introductory session is to help students refine their website idea for the 2019 Ctrl+Shift competition. Mentors and volunteers will be on hand to give students feedback on their ideas and help them develop a project plan for their website. By the end of the session, students should have a clear understanding of the project requirements for their website, allowing them to begin the web development process.

Important Note: Students must participate in at least two of the mentoring sessions to qualify for the live competition on May 4, 2019.

This event is made possible through generous support from Vanguard Innovation Studio.

About Ctrl+Shift: Ctrl+Shift is a city-wide coding competition open to all students between the ages of 13-18 attending any school in Philadelphia and Delaware. The goal of Ctrl+Shift is to give students the opportunity to think boldly and build projects that change the way they interact with their communities.
