It all started three years ago with our CEO and one student in a computer lab at Marian Anderson Rec Center. With lots of hard work, the help of a dedicated team of volunteers, and the power of word of mouth, our free programs have grown to reach 200 students at (soon-to-be!) 3 rec centers. Each week, we provide free tech education, tech industry exposure and career mentorship to children who lack access to these opportunities and we’re committed to continue to grow our impact in the Philadelphia region.
To celebrate three years of successful programming and what promises to be our biggest year yet in 2016, we’re throwing ourselves a birthday party! This event will showcase our achievements to date as well as give us an opportunity to share some exciting news with the Coded by Kids community.
Expect a night of music, delicious food and drink, and of course--birthday cake!
